Telepsychiatry

Mental Health Management Group offers scheduled telepsychiatry appointments for patients located in Florida. Telemedicine services allow individuals to meet with licensed psychiatric providers through secure video technology when clinically appropriate.

Telepsychiatry appointments are available for psychiatric evaluation, medication management follow-up, and certain therapy services, depending on individual needs and provider recommendation.

Clinical Standards and Eligibility

Telepsychiatry services are provided in accordance with state regulations, professional standards, and insurance requirements when applicable. Eligibility for telehealth services may depend on clinical factors, patient location at the time of the visit, and insurance participation.

Appointments must be scheduled through our office. Our administrative team can provide guidance regarding availability and insurance considerations.

Child and Adolescent Telepsychiatry

For children and adolescents, telepsychiatry appointments typically include input from parents or guardians. Information gathering may involve discussion of developmental history, school performance, behavioral observations, and family health background.

Questions and assessment approaches are adjusted based on the child’s age and developmental level. When appropriate, teachers or other caregivers may provide supplemental information.

In-Office Services

Certain advanced clinical services, including ketamine-assisted care and NeuroStar® TMS, require in-office visits and are not provided via telemedicine.
