What Is ExoMind?

ExoMind is an FDA-cleared, non-invasive neuromodulation treatment for depression, anxiety, PTSD, and OCD.  It delivers targeted electromagnetic pulses to specific brain regions involved in mood and cognitive regulation. The service does not require anesthesia, nor is it a surgical procedure.

When clinically appropriate, ExoMind may be discussed as part of a broader treatment plan for individuals experiencing mood-related or anxiety-related concerns. Decisions regarding its use are made collaboratively following comprehensive evaluation.

Clinical Context and Considerations

ExoMind is offered within a psychiatric framework and is not a replacement for comprehensive mental health care. Individuals may continue therapy, medication management, or other recommended services as part of coordinated care.

While some emerging research explores neuromodulation in areas such as cognitive performance, ExoMind is provided within this practice for clinically evaluated mental health concerns. Any off-label considerations are addressed in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.

What to Expect During Treatment

Sessions are conducted in-office under clinical supervision. During treatment, individuals experience a tapping or mild sensation at the site of stimulation. Most sessions are brief, and patients remain awake and alert throughout.

Treatment schedules vary depending on individual circumstances and clinical recommendation. Follow-up appointments are used to monitor response and reassess ongoing care needs.

Safety and Screening

A full clinical screening is required before beginning ExoMind therapy. Individuals with certain medical implants, seizure history, or other neurological contraindications may not be eligible. Safety protocols are followed in accordance with professional guidelines.

Individual responses vary, and outcomes cannot be guaranteed. ExoMind is one component of a comprehensive care plan when clinically appropriate.

ExoMind is not appropriate for all individuals. Determination of suitability is based on clinical assessment, medical history, and review of current symptoms.
