Specialization: With 27 years of experience, I specialize in providing comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations designed to deliver valuable information for those working directly with the students at the instructional level. I conduct assessments tailored to individual children to explore symptoms associated with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia (learning disabilities), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism, Anxiety, giftedness, and other social/emotional conditions.
Services include:
- Psychoeducational Evaluations
- Special Education Advocacy
Style: I believe evaluations should be comprehensive and identify areas of strength and challenges so parents can make more informed decisions. Evaluations should also help parents identify areas of need to develop a plan to support the student and the family. I also believe that all children are different, and as such, psychologists must be able to adapt their assessments to fit the needs of the child.
Biography: I began my career as a School Psychologist with Hillsborough County Schools. After 17 years, I accepted a position with Pearson Clinical as a Senior Assessment Consultant. In that capacity, I presented at national and state conferences on various topics and have become a subject matter expert. More recently, I decided to help pave the way for future School Psychologists and became an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University.
